I Know What It's Like to Feel Stuck
Career Navigation + Resilience Coaching
from Someone Who's Been There
My Story
For 20 years, I've navigated corporate environments while experiencing the exact combination my clients describe: ambitious, stuck, and exhausted.
I've felt the frustration of not understanding how advancement really works. I've watched colleagues get promoted while wondering what I was missing. I've delivered excellent results only to feel invisible when opportunities arose.
I've also experienced the depletion that comes from trying to decode corporate systems while managing everything else life throws at you—including becoming a caregiver during one of the most challenging periods of my life.
What I learned through all of this:
Working harder wasn't the answer. Being "more strategic" in some abstract way wasn't the answer. Pretending I wasn't exhausted definitely wasn't the answer.
What actually worked was gaining clarity about how corporate advancement systems really operate—combined with building sustainable practices that protected my energy while I navigated my path forward.
That combination—career navigation + resilience—is what I now help my clients develop.
For me, it’s no theory. I've lived it. And I've learned how to navigate it without burning out.
From Personal Experience to Professional Mission
After spending years in HR transformation and organizational development roles, I saw the same pattern repeatedly: ambitious, capable professionals feeling stuck in corporate systems they didn't fully understand—and exhausting themselves trying to figure it out alone.
I saw people working incredibly hard, delivering solid results, and still not advancing. I watched them become demoralized, depleted, and sometimes leave organizations where they could have thrived—if only they'd understood how the system actually worked.
I recognized this pattern because I'd lived it myself.
And I knew there was a better way—one that didn't require working harder, performing a different personality, or sacrificing your well-being for career advancement.
What was needed: Clear understanding of how corporate advancement systems operate, combined with sustainable practices to maintain energy during the journey.
That's what I now offer through Change Insight:
Career navigation that decodes the unwritten rules, paired with resilience strategies that make the path sustainable. Not one or the other—both, integrated from day one.
Because you can't execute a career strategy when you're depleted. And you can't build resilience without a sense of forward movement.
How I Work With Clients
I help ambitious corporate professionals who feel stuck gain two things:
1. Career Navigation (The Strategy)
Together, we decode how advancement actually works in your specific organization. We identify the unwritten rules you're missing. We build concrete career plans with actionable steps. We develop strategic visibility that feels authentic to you.
The Approach: Customized understanding of your particular corporate system and how to navigate it effectively.
2. Sustainable Resilience (The Energy)
At the same time, we build practices that protect your energy during the journey. We establish boundaries that work in your specific situation. We create sustainable work rhythms. We develop strategies for navigating setbacks without complete depletion.
The Approach: Practical resilience that honors your real life constraints.
Every session integrates both. Because in real life, you can't separate strategy from sustainability.
My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you see your situation clearly, understand the system you're navigating, and develop both the strategic plan and the sustainable energy to pursue it.

What I Believe
-
You're probably already working hard enough. What's missing is clarity about how the system operates and sustainable practices to navigate it.
-
Understanding these rules isn't about compromising your integrity—it's about navigating effectively so you can create the impact you want.
-
A brilliant career plan doesn't help if you're too depleted to execute it. And resilience practices don't create fulfillment if you're stuck with no forward movement.
-
It's a navigation problem. And navigation problems have solutions—once you understand the map and build the stamina for the journey.
-
You need to understand how to position who you already are within the system you're navigating, and how to protect your energy while doing it.
Life Beyond Coaching
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me on Maryland's trails, finding the kind of clarity that comes from quiet movement through nature.
I'm also a caregiver—an experience that's taught me more about resilience, boundaries, and sustainable energy management than any professional training ever could. This lived experience directly informs how I help clients navigate their own constraints and build practices that actually work in real life.
I believe deeply in the power of small, consistent actions to create meaningful change—whether in a career, a relationship, or a life. This philosophy guides both my personal choices and my coaching approach.
